		<description>I think the jury is still out with that.  I am not convinced that Open-Mesh is technically better than Meraki as far as hardware is concerned.  I have more confidence in the BATMAN protocol for routing, but after working with both the reflashed Meraki devices and the Open-Mesh devices, I still prefer the Meraki hardware.

Both Meraki and Open-Mesh.com were bound by CALEA and Patriot Act, and it always a point of contention with FreeTheNet.ca.  It actually really became something really important when the Kiwis on the list talked about it.

Also, I&#039;m thinking that Nightwing may be a better approach to the firmware than ROBIN, and I do plan on investigating that release in the next couple weeks as a new software base to build our firmware on.</description>
